Veritas Mining Ltd is a mining company, headquartered in London, United Kingdom, focusing on it's sole gold and associated minerals exploration license in Egypt.

In January 2017, the Arab Republic of Egypt held its first ever public international gold license exploration tender for 5 areas in Egypt known to have significant gold reserves.

Veritas Mining was the second company in Egypt's history to be awarded a Gold Exploration and Exploitation license, winning the most interesting Gold Mining Block of the 5 plots awarded, Um El Ruus.

The Um El Ruus plot is 248km2 situated on the Arabian Nubian Shield and has been known as the jewel of Egyptian gold mines since the 1930's.
